Job Description

Multimedia Technician Advanced

Your New Role: Multimedia Technician Advanced

As a Multimedia Technician Advanced at Global, you’ll work across the Transport for London estate to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe posting of our clients’ classic outdoor campaigns. In addition, you’ll perform key track protection duties during engineering hours, contributing to performance, safety, and operational excellence.

As a MMTA at Global, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Execution (40%): Maximise productivity and ensure campaign presentation is delivered safely, in the correct location, and on time. Use operational tools and equipment effectively and follow proper SSOW and RAMS processes.

  • Safety Leadership (40%): Act as Protection Master (PM), Site Person in Charge (SPIC), or Person in Charge of Works (PICOW), ensuring safe operations and compliance with Sentinel scheme rules and safety regulations.

  • Compliance & Collaboration (20%): Maintain up-to-date documentation, attend training, and report incidents or faults accurately. Foster respectful, professional relationships with clients, internal teams, partners, and authorities.

What You’ll Love About This Role

Think Big: Work on one of the largest outdoor networks in the world, influencing how millions of people see our clients’ campaigns across the TfL estate.

Own It: Take responsibility for the safety, quality, and timely delivery of campaign installations and safety roles like PICOW and SPIC.

Keep it Simple: You’ll follow well-structured safety and operational procedures, using digital tools and your own good judgement to keep things running smoothly.

Better Together: Collaborate in a supportive team environment with shared goals, while developing strong relationships across operational teams and partners.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Achieved certifications for working across TfL environments and in safety-critical roles (PWT-EH, SPIC, PICOW).

  • Demonstrated full understanding of safety standards and confidently operated within approved processes.

  • Trained and gained experience in applying all classic advertising formats (dry and wet posting).

  • Competently used digital reporting tools and operational systems.

  • Built strong working relationships with peers and partners across TfL, Global, and third-party stakeholders.

What You’ll Need

  • Calm under pressure and confident working in high-risk, time-sensitive environments.

  • Comfortable supporting and leading high-performing teams in critical roles.

  • Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Excellent attention to detail with pride in your work.

  • Confident with digital tools and workplace technologies.

  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and excellent with time management.

  • Desirable: Experience in safety-critical environments and/or outdoor advertising.

  • Essential: Full UK driving licence, ability to regularly lift 20kg, stand for long periods, and work at height.
