Job Description

Your role: Head of Operations & Product - DAX Programmatic Audio 

The Head of DAX Programmatic Audio – Operations & Product will lead the operational delivery, platform development and strategic evolution of Global’s programmatic audio capabilities across DAX Audio. 

The role sits at the intersection of ad technology, product, operations and partner enablement, ensuring the DAX Audio programmatic platform is scalable, reliable and easy to transact with for DSPs, agencies and buyers. This includes supporting both Global-owned inventory and selected partner supply integrations. 

Whilst not a direct commercial role, the position requires strong market awareness and understanding of DSP and customer needs to help shape platform priorities, improve operational workflows and support programmatic revenue growth. 

The role will work closely with Commercial Tech, Data, Supply, Finance, Delivery and Commercial teams across Global and international DAX markets. 

As a Head of Operations & Product - DAX Programmatic Audio 

at Global, you will: 

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership 40%:

  • Lead and improve operational workflows across campaign setup, delivery and optimisation for DAX Audio programmatic  

  • Own end-to-end operational delivery, process ensuring scalability, efficiency and platform reliability  

  • Act as the senior escalation point for operational and technical issues across internal teams, DSPs and external partners  

  • Identify and resolve delivery friction points impacting campaign performance or customer experience  

Shape Product & Platform Development 20%

  • Define and prioritise the DAX Audio programmatic roadmap in collaboration with Commercial Tech and DAX Audio leadership  

  • Translate DSP, customer and operational feedback into platform enhancements and development priorities  

  • Support the rollout of new programmatic audio products, capabilities and integrations  

  • Ensure new functionality is supported by clear processes, documentation and user training  

  • Drive improvements in DSP connectivity, transaction mechanics and operational efficiency  

Shape DSP & Partner Management 40%:

  • Maintain strong working relationships with DSPs and platform partners to support innovation, adoption and delivery optimisation  

  • Support DSP onboarding, QA, troubleshooting and creative compliance  

  • Monitor platform health and coordinate resolution of technical or delivery issues  

  • Support the evolution of partner inventory integrations alongside Global-owned audio supply  

  • Oversee financial reconciliation, spend tracking, billing and operational reporting across DSP and internal dashboards

  • Successfully supported onboarding and management of owned-and-operated and partner audio inventory. 

  • What You’ll Need 

  • Strong experience in programmatic advertising and ad tech ecosystems with specialist knowledge of digital Audio preferable. 

  • Deep understanding of DSPs, SSPs, programmatic workflows and digital advertising infrastructure  

  • Experience leading platform operations, product operations or operational strategy in a fast-paced environment  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex operational and technical challenges  

  • Commercial awareness, including financial reconciliation, reporting and platform governance  

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution  

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and commercial teams
