PARTNERSHIP MANAGER: AIRPORTS & NETWORK RAIL
At Global, we think big, work hard, and never stand still. We’re the proud home of the best media and entertainment brands on the planet, driven by our talented and passionate people. Our mission? To make everyone’s day brighter - our Globallers, our audiences, our partners, and our communities. Whether we’re in the studio, building world-class technology, or securing record Outdoor advertising partnerships, we make sure we’re doing it as a team.
Your New Role
As Partnership Manager at Global, you will own the day-to-day management of Global’s Airport and Network Rail partnerships. You’ll understand your contracts, their commercial performance, the estates and you partner priorities and future plans in depth. You’ll build trusted relationships across partner organisations and within Global, bringing together Sales, Operations, Finance, Planning and Delivery to resolve issues, manage risks and unlock opportunities. This is a visible, commercially focused role, with regular travel to partner sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain first-class relationships with Airport and Network Rail partners, ensuring both Global and its partners meet their contractual and commercial commitments.
- Commercial Performance & Estate Management: Maintain a detailed understanding of the advertising estate, its performance, risks and opportunities. Ensure estate data is accurate, communicate changes, lead void management and support the protection and growth of Global’s commercial position.
- Reporting & Governance: Lead contractual reporting and record-keeping with Finance, and support presentation builds, agendas and actions to keep meeting cadence on track.
- Asset Deployment & Market Insight: Proactively identify opportunities to develop the estate. Support new asset deployment through project meetings, planning, financial modelling and partner engagement, ensuring opportunities are seen through to delivery.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a positive, approachable conduit between Global and partners for Sales and other departments, and set the standard for professional behaviour within the wider Partnership team.
What You’ll Love About This Role
- Think Big: build long-term, high value relations with major national partners and help shape how Global protects and grows its Outdoor advertising estate
- Own It: treat each partnership like your own business, understanding its performance, risks, commitments and what needs to happen next
- Keep it Simple: bring clarity to complex issues by connecting the right people, challenging where needed and turning insight into practical action
- Better Together: work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Legal working collaboratively to deliver great outcomes for everyone.
What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you’ll have:
- Met your key partners, built rapport, and started to understand how their organisations work.
- Got to grips with your contracts and meeting governance and led your first monthly partner meeting.
- Visited the Network Rail and Airport environments to see the advertising estate first hand, weekly travel around the UK will be expected in this role.
- Built a solid working knowledge of Global’s operation side (production, posting, maintenance, asset deployment & HSE) and commercial side (sales, marketing and campaign planning) to understand how the different elements work together.
What You’ll Need
- Relationship management: A credible, diplomatic communicator who can build trusted partnerships, influence stakeholders and confidently handle challenging conversations.
- Organisation and delivery: Highly organised and detail-focused, able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and keep commitments on track in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial and numerical confidence: Comfortable creating PowerPoints, using data and Excel to understand performance and support decisions and quickly learn new IT systems.
- Ownership and collaboration: A proactive self-starter who takes responsibility, stays resilient under pressure and works positively across teams to achieve shared goals.
- Experience of the Outdoor Market, the Media Market place or the airport sector would be ideal, but we will also consider experience of managing large contracts or partnerships.
